Don't miss our annual Halloween drag show! This year it's a spooky spectacular. All ages welcome, all proceeds to local LGBTQ+ youth center

I have questions about bringing my 8-year-old. Is it actually appropriate for kids? What's the content like?

Drag is performance art. Totally fine for kids. It's like theater. These people are saying all ages but can we really trust that?

@marco.delgado88 yes, you can trust that. I volunteer with this org every year. It's comedy, dance, music, and celebration. Nothing inappropriate. Families come

@psullivan_jazz I just think kids should be kids and this seems like it's being forced on them

Nobody's forcing kids to anything lol. Parents choose. And drag has been part of queer culture for decades. Kids seeing gender isn't harmful

I'm not saying anything bad about the people performing. I just think there's different values here

@chen_engineering that's fair. Different values exist. But this event is for the community that hosts it. You're not obligated to come
