CYBERCON: Rubber's Lover

A clandestine group of scientists are conducting brutal experiments on human test subjects in an attempt to unlock psychic powers. An assault of industrial noise, sensory deprivation, and grotesque body horror, Rubber’s Lover (1996) is often considered an unofficial prequel to Fukui’s 964 PINOCCHIO (1991), expanding on its obsessions with technology, bodily transformation, and the limits of human consciousness.
