Adult Ed Small Bite: What's New at Bethel New Life

Bethel New Life's Mildred Wiley Wellness Center will be centered around an urban farm inChicago's westside Austin community. OSLC is a partner in this project. The first phase of thisproject is underway and includes a horticultural center with spaces for classes and gardeningactivities. Bethel New Life's CEO Sharif Walker and some of the staff will share recentdevelopments and plans for next steps, including an Austin Food Ecosystem Initiative that along with five core partners will rebrand a well-documented food desert around urban agriculture.
