Women of Beth Israel Presents: A Rosh Chodesh Series

Women of Beth Israel is excited to be offering our Rosh Chodesh series under the guidance of Rabbi Elana Ackerman Hirsch. This month’s gathering will be led by Director of Caring Community, Katey Lindley. Rosh Chodesh marks the beginning of each month as determined by the appearance of the new moon. While it is observed by all Jews, it holds particular significance for women and is traditionally celebrated as a women’s holiday-a custom rooted in the Talmud.
