Nooo I was looking forward to evening vespers :( Will Fr. be back next week?
Sophia Rossi· Sep 26
This is actually great news lol. Vespers is kind of a niche thing and this might push the parish to do something more accessible.
Kyle Patterson· Sep 26
@sophia.rossi.writer Wow, that's one take. Some of us actually value traditional practices?
Luis Reyes· Sep 26
Both things can be true - vespers is meaningful for people who practice it AND the parish should offer more varied services. Why is it either/or?
Amelia Mendez· Sep 26
This is the kind of thing that shouldn't turn into a big debate. The priest needs a break, he'll be back. We don't need to litigate liturgy on a local events board lol
Jessica Martinez· Sep 26
Does anyone know if there are other parishes doing evening prayer during this time? Looking for alternatives
Miguel Santos· Sep 26
@jess_martinez22 St. Mary's on 5th does a Thursday evening option, different format though but similar vibe. Give them a call?
