Ozempidemic: Abuse of GLP-1s in Hollywood~Gender Bite #1

Join us in the Women's Center Living Room from 1pm to 2pm for our first Gender Bite of the year! We'll be talking about the increased use of Ozempic by celebrities in Hollywood, what Ozempic is, how recent discourse around it relates to fatphobia and women in pop culture, and how we can all be more mindful of recent shifts in "body trends." A copy of Sabrina Strings' novel, "Fearing the Black Body: The Racial Origins of Fatphobia" will be raffled for participants.
