Dementia Friends
A free, one-hour community workshop designed to build understanding of dementia, highlight how its signs and symptoms differ from typical aging, and offer practical tips for communicating with someone living with dementia. At the end of the session, participants are encouraged to reflect on how they can turn their new knowledge into meaningful action, whether that’s checking in on a neighbor or supporting their own brain health through healthy lifestyle adjustments. Presented by County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, Aging & Independence Services.
