How we treat each other on Fig.
Fig exists so people go out and do things together. These guidelines keep that fun and safe. They apply to profiles, plans, chats, moments, comments and corrections.

- Be a good guest. Show up when you say Yes, or change your answer.
- Post only your own photos, and ask before posting someone’s face.
- Corrections are for facts. Reports are for safety. Both are reviewed by people.
Be real
Use your own name and a photo of you. One account. Don’t pretend to be someone else, a venue you don’t represent, or a bot.
Be a good guest
If you say Yes, go — or switch to Maybe or No so the host can plan. Respect the host’s rules for their plan. Hosts: be clear about what the plan is, and don’t change the spot last-minute without telling everyone.
Keep people safe
- No harassment, threats, stalking or hate — including in DMs.
- Don’t share someone’s location, address or exact meetup spot outside the plan.
- Don’t use friend location sharing to track anyone who didn’t choose to share with you.
- Nothing sexual, no nudity, no content involving minors. Fig is 18+.
- No drugs for sale, no weapons, no scams.
Moments and photos
Post what you took, at the happening you’re at. Ask before posting other people’s faces. If someone asks you to take a photo of them down, do it. Moments at kids and family happenings are attendees-only by default; leave them that way.
Corrections are for facts
"Something’s off" is for wrong times, wrong places, cancellations, duplicates and wrong photos. Your corrections are weighted by your track record — accurate corrections earn trust, false ones lose it. Coordinated false reports are detected and held for a human.
Businesses and promotion
Venues and organizers are welcome — with a business account. Don’t spam plan chats or comments with promotion, and don’t post happenings that aren’t real.
What happens when something breaks these
Block works both ways and hides everything between two people instantly. Reports on people, comments and messages go to Fig staff. Depending on severity we warn, remove content, limit features, or close the account. We tell you what we did and why, and you can appeal at safety@fig.social. If someone is in danger, call 911 first.
