Every organizer knows the feeling

You love what you organize. Not the logistics around it.

The details live in five places.A group chat, a spreadsheet, a flyer, an email thread and your DMs. Nobody knows which one is current.
“Is it still on? What time? Where?”Your members ask the same questions every week, and you answer them one by one.
Every week starts from scratch.New post, new headcount, new list of who’s bringing what. The thing you do every week never gets easier.

01 · Plan it

Every detail in one place, set up once.

Create the happening and everything about it lives there: when, where, who it’s for, what to bring and how many spots you have. Set it to repeat and next week is already done.

  • Publish in a minute. Title, time, place and a few details. That’s it.
  • Make it repeat. Weekly, every other Wednesday, first Saturday of the month. It keeps going on its own.
  • Choose who sees it. Just friends, your group, your followers or everyone.
  • Set a cap. Limit spots and see at a glance how many are left.
  • Link your tickets. Already sell tickets somewhere? Add the link and Fig sends people there.

02 · Your people

Everyone always knows what’s going on.

Your members and guests get one place for everything they’re going to. When you change something, it changes for everyone, so nobody shows up to the wrong room.

  • One list of their plans. Your happenings sit right next to everything else they’re going to.
  • Changes update everywhere. New room, new time, cancelled for rain. Edit it once and everyone going sees it.
  • A chat for every happening. Questions, carpools and photos stay with the happening, not scattered across group texts.
  • The details, right there. Where to park, what to bring and how to find you, on the happening itself.

03 · Run it

Run the happening, not the spreadsheet.

On the day, everything you need is with the happening: who’s coming, who’s bringing what, and a chat where @fig handles the busywork.

  • See who’s going. A live guest list with your regulars and their plus-ones, and how many spots are left.
  • Bringing lists and polls. Ask @fig for a poll or a list of who’s bringing what, right in the chat.
  • @fig answers the questions. Parking, what to bring, what time it starts. Answered in the chat, so you aren’t answering the same DM all day.
  • A group for your members. Your club, team or crew gets a home between happenings, with its own chat and plans.

04 · Your followers

Your regulars, one post away.

People who love what you do can follow you on Fig. Post a new date or an announcement and it lands right in their feed, no mailing list or group-text chain required.

  • A profile people follow. Your happenings, your story and what’s coming up, all in one place.
  • A public group for your regulars. The people who keep coming back get a home between happenings.
  • Announcements that land in their feed. New date, new class, last few spots. Your followers see it where they already check their plans.

How it works

Three steps. Then do it again next week.

01Create it.Give it a title, a time and a place, and choose who can see it: friends, your groups or everyone.
02Share it with your people.Post it to your followers and your group, or send the link anywhere. Everyone sees the same, always-current details.
03Run it and repeat.Watch who’s going, let @fig handle the questions, and set it to come back next week.

Organizer questions

The short answers.

More detail lives in the terms and community guidelines.

No. Studios, venues and nonprofits organize on Fig, and so do clubs, crews and anyone with a good idea.
