Delete Your Account · Effective October 15, 2026

Delete your Fig account.

How to delete your account in Fig, the app and website by Fig Social Inc., what’s deleted, what’s kept, and when.

The short version
  • Delete your account any time in Settings → Delete account, in the app or on the website.
  • You’re signed out and your profile disappears right away.
  • Changed your mind? Sign back in within 30 days and everything comes back.
  • After 30 days, your account and data are deleted for good.

01How to delete your account

  • iPhone app: go to Settings → Delete account.
  • Android app: go to Settings → Delete account.
  • Website: sign in, open Settings, then Delete account.

Fig asks you to confirm before anything is deleted.

Can’t sign in? Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you.

02What’s deleted

Everything that’s yours: your profile and @handle, photos, comments, ratings, saved boards, scouts, groups you own, location sharing, who you follow and who follows you, and everything else on your account.

Upcoming plans you host go to a co-host, or are cancelled.

03What’s kept

  • Messages you sent stay in the chats they were sent to, shown from “Deleted account”, so the conversation still makes sense for everyone else.
  • Safety reports are kept privately, only as long as the law requires.
  • Payment records, if you have any, are kept only as long as the law requires, as the Privacy Policy says.

04When it happens

  • Right away: you’re signed out everywhere, and your profile and everything you posted are hidden.
  • Within 30 days: sign back in (the same way you always do) and your account comes back as it was.
  • After 30 days: your account and data are deleted for good. That’s well within the 90 days our Privacy Policy promises.
