Fig for Mac
The menu bar app that shows hosts their sales, dates and chats at a glance.
Fig for Mac is a small app for hosts. It lives in your Mac's menu bar (the icons at the top right of the screen) and shows your day at a glance. Click the Fig icon and a panel drops down. Fig for Mac isn't available to download yet.
Signing in
Sign in with your email and the 6-digit code, the same as on your phone. If you run organizations, use the switcher at the top of the panel to see an organization's day.
What you see
- Today: tickets sold today, what's yours from them after Fig's fee, and how many of your happenings' chats have unread messages.
- Coming up: your next dates, with when and where. For ticketed dates you see how many are sold (and a bar showing how full it is when there's a limit), how many are checked in, and what's yours. You also see how many are going and any unread chat messages.
- Sales this week: each order, newest first: who, how many tickets, which happening and what's yours.
Your happenings are the ones you made, the ones you co-host, and the ones on a business page you've claimed.
Click a date to open its page on fig.social. Right-click it to open its chat or copy its link.
Notifications
You get a Mac notification for each new sale and each new message in one of your happenings' chats. Click one to open the happening. The number next to the menu bar icon is what's waiting for you: chats with unread messages, plus sales since you last opened the panel.
At the bottom of the panel
- Put on a happening and Chats open fig.social.
- The gear menu has Open at login, Open fig.social, About Fig, Sign out and Quit.
To sell tickets or set up payouts, use the app or the website: see Selling tickets and Getting paid.
